1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon chilli powder (optional)
3 cups water
1 pinch asafoetida
coriander or parsley for garnish
1 tablespoon oil
Boil the potatoes and break into smaller pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the cumin, chilli powder and asafoetida.
Add the water. Add the potato pieces, lemon and garam masala.
Garnish with coriander or parsley.
