This talk will be given by Nillumbik U3A member Dianne Parslow.
Dianne will share the highlights and photos of her recent trip to South America and Antarctica. Dianne and her husband travelled to Quito and Galapagos Islands (Ecuador), Lima (Peru), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Antarctica and Patagonia (southern Chile). Dianne’s main interest is the wide variety of animals and birds seen on the trip.
This talk will be given by Alan Flint. In 1956, Alan started a 39 year banking career, initially with the Commonwealth Bank.
In 1960, Alan transferred to the newly formed Reserve Bank of Australia in Melbourne, where he worked mainly developing cash handling procedures including coin rolling operations.

In 1988, he was appointed project manager for the construction of the Exhibition and Display Gallery as a Bicentennial year event.
In 1994, he retired and took up a position at a rare coin and banknote company in Melbourne for the following 15 years.
