In my own words

I was contacted by your Class Coordinator as they were looking for a tutor to host line dancing classes. As I’ve been leading line dancing classes at Whittlesea and Banyule U3As for the past 2 years I have built up my dancing and teaching skills so agreed to offer this course to Nillumbik members.

What my students will learn

I will be teaching participants how to line dance – my sessions will involve learning the meaning of dance terms, dance steps and, ultimately, basic and intermediate level dances.

Class structure

A one hour class held in a suitable hall once a week on an ongoing basis..

Why did you volunteer to run this class?

I enjoy dancing and I get pleasure from sharing my skills with other seniors wishing to learn to dance. Hopefully my sessions will bring them lots of pleasure.
