Oxfam, Amnesty International and St. Margaret’s Eltham are partnering to present Franklin, a documentary film following the journey of 8th generation Tasmanian Oliver Cassidy as he re-traces the trip of his late father who travelled down the beautiful river to attend the blockade that saved the World Heritage listed national park from being destroyed by a huge hydroelectric dam project in the 1980s. Speakers from each group will give a short 3 minute talk minute about their group’s climate actions/concerns.
